And, What Can We Learn from That Answer?
What if I told you, you had to go through the entire catalogues of some artists like; The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, U2, James Brown, Frank Zappa, or Miles Davis, and separate them by; songs concert lovers want to hear, and songs concert lovers don’t/or are less likely to want to hear?
How would you do that? What would be your guide?
How much would it change through time?
How would you adjust it for different audiences?
And, would you need to?
What do you think we would discover looking at those piles of songs?
What would it say about us?
What would it say about them?
Do you think you would listen to one pile to enjoy the artist, and the other to understand the artist?
Or, just understand us?
Do you think there is an artist who would only have one pile?
Are there artists you can’t enjoy if you do understand?
Are there artists you can’t understand if you are the type who enjoys going to concerts?
Are you as curious about this as I am?
